Client Overview

A major Austrian industrial group operating across Europe entrusted ÆGIS with the complete modernization of its cybersecurity infrastructure, replacing a legacy platform that no longer met operational or compliance requirements. The client required a turnkey solution capable of protecting its entire OT environment while maintaining continuity with the existing system architecture.

The Challenge

The project involved:

  • Replacing an existing cybersecurity solution with minimal risk and zero service interruption
  • Preserving all domain and security configurations already in place across the enterprise
  • Delivering a fully integrated system — both hardware and software — ready to operate upon installation
  • Ensuring centralized security management across the company’s headquarters and five production sites
  • Protecting a wide range of OT assets, including PLCs, HMIs, data collection servers, industrial gateways, and other plant control devices

    • Log collection and event correlation

To ensure operational continuity, all existing domain structures and security policies were preserved during migration. The switchover was carried out with zero downtime, maintaining full protection throughout the process.
